Wednesday, April 3, 2013 The Montmorency County Tribune 3 home Hi everyone! My name is Hoover and I'm a big Labrador Rottweiler mix. I'm just about ayear old so I'm still pretty much a youngster. I used to live with a little girl about five years old, she was my little buddy and we spent lots of time play- ing together. I enjoyed every minute, even when she wanted to play with dolls; I didn't mind, I just liked being with her. I don't know what happened or why they brought me here to the shelter. It wasn't anything I did wrong, just some- thing in their lives that wouldn't let them keep me anymore. My little friend was crying when she left me, I didn't know what to do or why she was crying, I wanted to make her feel better, but I couldn't be- cause we could no longer be together. So here I am at the shelter waiting for a new home. Waiting for that familywith kids that I could playwith and take care of. I'm a good boy and my old family taught me many things, like not to jump on little ones, not touching my food when my bowl was placed in front of me until I'm told it's ok to eat, I know how to sit, and I know how to wait. I think I'm very smart and well adjusted for a dog of such ayoung age. I see other young ones here and some of them are just on the crazy side of the tracks. I understand they are young and just haven't had the bringing up I have had. I'm very luckythat way, theytookthe time to teach me to be a good boy. Someday soon I will have a new family. I'm very handsome, sincere and wise beyond my years. Don't get me wrong it's not like I have no spunk, I have plenty of spunk and energy, so I can play hard like the rest of them and need exercise like all youngdogs do. I have already been neutered; have all my shots and even a micro-chip, I am more than ready to go to a new home! Please come visit me, I would love the company. You can also call the shelter at 989-785- 3738. Sincerely, Hoover ii;:ii i i ~ i iii
