The annual Betty Bucholtz Memorial Easter Party in Atlanta
continues to gain in popularity. This was the third year for the
event that offers a variety of activities.
Sloppy conditions
hampered the oppor-
tunity for outdoor
games, but children in
attendance were still
able to enjoy an out-
door egg hunt. Indoor
activities included
snacks, face painting,
photos with the Eas-
ter Bunny and prize
drawings.

tends the party re-

age, and morns with winning tickets this year received flowers and candy.
Vicki Etlieridge, co-organizer of the party, said the turnout has been increasing and
so have the donations from area businesses as well as donations from individuals
from outside the area.
According to Etheridge, a man f om downstate donated $100 for the party last year.
This year, she said he donated another $100 and his brother's family donated $120.
About 75 children attended the party the first year, and appro mately 125 attended
the second year. As this year's event progressed, Etheridge gave the order to set up
more chairs as seating became unavailable.
"We've stashed extra candy in case more kids come in," Etheridge said.
