We had a full house for
the monthly potluck sup-
per at St. Mark's Episcopal
Church in Atlanta last
week. Thanks to all mem-
bers and guests who at-
tended. The meal was deli-
cious.
Following dinner we be-
gan a Bible study and dis-
cussion series led by Rev.
Seitz our Priest in Charge.
All are welcome to join us
on the second Wednesday
of every month at 5 p.m.

Anne Marie Wirth
Cauchon, granddaughter
of MaryCauchon, has pub-
lished her first novel. It's
entitled "Nothing" and is
available through Amazon
with a Nov. 12th release
date. The reviews have
been terrific.
Carla Nickodemus,
granddaughter of Del
McElroy, was on House
Hunters International
HGTV on Oct. 8. Carla was
offered a job inCambridge,
England and the show fea-
tured the family's search
for a home away from their
home in Traverse City.
The Hillman United
Methodist Church will be
hosting a Tnmk or Treat
Halloween Party in the
parking lot on Saturday,
October 26 from 4-6 p.m.
There will be games, fun
and treats. Come and join
in and have a good time.
Alaana Barsen is running
or Miss Sunrise, and will be
hosting a bake sale to ben-
efit the Children's Miracle
Network. It will be held in
the church fellowship hall
on October 19 beginning
at 10 a.m. Please support
Alaana in this project.

her sermon, which was
based on 2 Timothy 2:8-15.
The choir sang "Jesus is the
Lord of Everything" and
"Without Him," and was
accompanied by Sue
Baren on the piano. Thank

Klein for taking up the
noisy offering on Sept. 29.
Ashley Bartow acted as
acolyte and she and-a
friend were ushers.
